林爽 (Song Lam) , 筆名阿爽，原籍廣東省澄海市。
她1990年自香港移居紐西蘭奧克蘭市後﹐潛心研究毛利文化﹔關心教育﹑熱衷環保。

曾任﹕紐西蘭<奧克蘭大學>教育諮詢管理組顧問及講師、紐西蘭華文作協第三屆會長 / 大洋洲華文作協首屆副會長。

現任﹕現任潮屬總會秘書長/ 美國明州時報[爽心悅目]版主/[世華微型小說研討會]理事 / [世華作家交流協會]副秘書長 / [風雅漢俳社] 名譽社長 / 國際潮人文學藝術協會學術顧問/ 廣東省潮汕文學院文學顧問。

曾獲獎項﹕紐西蘭榮譽國民英雄章/ 首屆國際潮人文學獎 / 紐西蘭 <英女皇服務勳章-QSM>/ <增進中紐文化交流>獎牌/[海外優秀華文教育工作者]稱號 /[紐西蘭職業華人成就獎]一等獎 / [紐西蘭華文學會]頒授[中文寫作及翻譯比賽翻譯組]季軍-會長杯。

著有﹕《紐西蘭原住民》﹑《紐西蘭活潑教育》﹑《紐西蘭名人傳》﹑《展翅奧克蘭》、
《林爽微型小說集》、《林爽漢俳》等中英文著作十部。 2017年6月擔任《世界漢俳首選》主編 (該書在台灣秀威出版社出版)。
曾經在新西蘭中文先驅報開設《先驅教育專版》，和讀者分享教育、文化等方面的心得，深受讀者喜愛。 2019年5月又出版微型小說集《月如鈎》。

Song graduated at the University of Auckland with B. Ed
was formerly a school teacher in Hong Kong with more than 30 years teaching experience and is currently a part time bilingual educational advisor for Auckland Schools.
